    I don't get where I'm going wrong.

So it's obviously binary of some kind, your hint and now some research says that it's related to Braille as Braille is a 6 bit system where as computer binary used an 8 bit.
Translating it to Braille symbols and then translating that to English just brings up nonsense "!z and the a z" specifically.
Been reading all kinds of articles about how to transfer binary to a variety or other systems/languages for the past 40mins now and am no closer. I feel that I'm over complicating this as no one else seems to be having an issue. What am I doing wrong?

You're very close. Braille is correct. Taking the blocks of 6, imagine 1 as a filled in 'bump' and 0 as a blank 'bump'. You should be able to make a six letter word.

  • Bump of what? It’s unclear, help...

Bump as in the tiny raised circles that are used in braille.
